你好,我的名字叫做沈骏。这个博客现在主要是一个企图以基督福音为中心的博客。有许多很好的英语资料尚未翻译成中文。譬如Tim Keller、John Piper 、Mark Dever等人的事工在华人教会圈子里并不广为人之。小弟却以为他们的事工,虽称不上完美完全,但是已经有许多我们可以借镜之处。希望能够通过如此的翻译的工作,帮助各位更加理解福音的信息。

Hi 沈骏,
I appreciated your translation work. I refreshing to read these authors in mandarin.
This is work I always want to do too, by exploring Chinese reader with more reformed materials.
I’ve recently read Grudem, “Feminism, a new path to liberalism?”
It’s an excellent book, I hope someone could translate it into Mar drain. Chinese church really need more material in this issue.

Hi John,
Thanks for dropping by. I have noticed that you are from Singapore. Which church do you go to? I am from Covenant Evangelical Free Church.
I like Grudem but I’m afraid that I have not read that new book yet. At the moment, I think that only material available for free online can be translated some what. Another option would be to work with Open Source Missions, check out my post on that for more info.
regards
Edward(沈骏)

I am much hearten to find more like-minded brethrens, however, not to dampen the zeal, I have to caution on copyright and intellectual property.
Copyright varies by country but generally it is in effect for the life of the author plus 70 years.
Please remember to seek permission BEFORE publishing the translated works, regardless in any printed or electronic forms.
Do be careful with this copyright issue, as infringement of it is a violation of the 9th Commandment.

Hi Edward,
John and myself (ming), we’re from Pilgrim Covenant Church (PCC). So we’re kinna “next door neighbour”
I went over to CERC three-four weeks ago when Jane, Keri, Jon & the boys were here in Singapore, however, I don’t remember having to meet you,
Btw, are you still in contact with Nancy Chia? I’ve been trying to get hold of her. She used to do some translation work too. Do you know where is she now?
FYI, a few of us are forming an official “translation society” (or probably more accurate state as a “Christian Media center” since we have larger ambition than just a translation society). We’re currently waiting for ROS to approve our application. We hope not just to translate, but publish the works translated (either/both printed or electronically). I am not sure if you’ll be interested in this work too.
We should try to meet up sometime. Feel free to pop by PCC or we’ll pop by CERC

Hi Edward,
I apologized. I misread the Church you’re from. I thought it’s CERC, but It’s CEFC. My apologies again. Ignore the paragraph on CERC and Nancy Chia. Thanks.
